Arizona Medical Group Management Association (AzMGMA) is a professional association representing individuals who provide management services in the medical practice setting. Each year the organization provides professional development experiences for its members. The organization approached Vivian to provide expertise on how to build strategy to create robust outcomes.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Vivian presented Developing Your Practice Strategy, an hour-long session designed to help medical professionals define their strategy, assess their measures and assess their market and give them a format for an implementation plan. AzMGMA needed a facilitator that could speak to a variety of topics within the healthcare sphere and build upon the knowledge of attendees.
RESULTS & TRANSFORMATION
The attendance was high for the session and the group discussion was dynamic. Many attendees learned about opportunities and tools available to them from fellow attendees. The group asked questions on topics ranging from patient satisfaction scores to hiring inequities. The talk broadened their knowledge.
The stated outcomes were:
Starting off on the right foot with best practices for quick wins,
Assessment to develop a game plan for the market
Developing longer-term strategies and goals and
Provide an easy way to track moves to get organizations to their goals.
